Eliason 1031 Properties Corp. Appoints Southeast Region Acquisition Officer
New Position Integral to Predicted Growth of Tenant-in-Common Portfolio
ST. GERMAIN, WI (February 26, 2008) – Eliason 1031 Properties, one of the nation's premier Tenant-in-Common (TIC) sponsors, recently appointed Gene Harris as Acquisition Officer, Southeast Region. "We maintain a geographically diverse Eliason 1031 portfolio on behalf of our investors to balance out fluctuations in geographic markets," notes Jay Grooters, Chief Executive Officer of Eliason Real Estate Investments Group. "Because the southeast market continues to show solid population and economic growth, we are committed to expanding our presence there."
As Acquisition Officer, Harris is responsible for identifying and acquiring properties that fit Eliason's stringent acquisition criteria. "Our investors will benefit from Gene?s experience because not only does he have in-depth knowledge of the real estate market in this area, he has established professional relationships with real estate brokers that allow him to cast a large net in his search for the optimum property," concludes Grooters.
Harris has significant experience in property management, development and acquisitions. Most recently serving as a Regional Property Manager, Harris was responsible for a six property 2,885-unit portfolio, and oversaw the market and financial analysis for over $300 million of acquired assets. Harris was also responsible for the implementation and coordination of due diligence, underwriting, and financial management for both pre-development and acquisition assets.
Harris is based in the Atlanta area and covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
